The sauna is situated alongside the Staffin Harbour slipway. Please read our guide, sauna terms and what to bring.

Please read our terms and conditions before booking and attending your session.
Arrival. Please arrive on time. to get the very most of your session you could try a dip immediately prior to your arrival time and head straight into your session.
Storage. Dry robes, outerwear and wetsuits can be left safely outside the sauna. Personal belongings, including water bottles, jewelry and phones should be left in the changing area vestibule.
Entering the Sauna. Please take care when entering and leaving the sauna the ground can be slippy. It is advisable to make use of your footwear when moving between the sauna and cold water shower or sea. Sit on a towel and ensure the sauna door is shut promptly.
Steam. Or Loyly. Please check with others in the sauna before adding water from the bucket provided. Pour one ladle at a time slowly and evenly over the stones.
Aromatherapy Oils. Only oils provided by Staffin Sea Sauna can be used. Please ask.
Regular breaks. Please ensure regular breaks are taken. Start slowly and listen to your body. 12-15 should be a maximum.

Swimwear
Towels - a small one to sit on. We do offer towels if you are traveling light please tick when booking.
Water bottle
Flip flops, beach or swim shoes.
You should bring a dry robe or changing towel for outside changing although we do have a small changing room.

Please read carefully before booking or using our sauna. By booking and using our services, you agree to the following:
General Information:
Staffin Sea Sauna provides traditional wood-fired sauna service, aiming to promote health, well-being and relaxation. For individuals aged 18+. Those under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
Health and Safety:
The sauna may not be suitable for those with certain medical conditions such as high or low blood pressure, circulatory disorders, epilepsy or diabetes. if you are pregnant please consult your GP before making a booking.
If you use the sea as ‘cold water therapy’ you do so at your own risk. It is your responsibility to ensure you understand varying sea and temperature conditions.
You must take care when entering and leaving the sauna when walking along the slipway to enter the water shoes should be worn outside of the sauna and removed before entering.
Reservations and Payments:
All bookings must be made through our website or online booking platforms and are subject to availability.
24hr notice is required to reschedule or to obtain a full refund.
Liability:
Staffin Sea Sauna is not liable for the loss, theft or damage of personal belongings during the saunas use.
Any liability for injury damage or loss caused by users negligence is disclaimed to the fullest extent permitted by law.
Privacy:
Staffin Sea Sauna will not share personal information without consent, except as required by law.
Conduct:
The sauna is a shared environment, please respect the space and other users. Staffin Sea Sauna operators reserve the right to refuse admission to intoxicated persons.
